The Connecticut Legislative Commission on Aging has cited the Danbury Seniors website as an innovation and best practice for creating “Livable Communities”.
The nonpartisan think tank for issues concerning the State’s older population has highlighted the project on their website as “a successful initiative to create thriving places for people to grow up and grow older”.
This website was a partnership between the City of Danbury’s Department of Elderly Services, the Peter and Carmen Lucia Buck Foundation and SandorMax to provide critical resources and improve quality of life for the senior community in the region. We are very proud to have our work cited by the State.
